Deleting Your Account

We're sad to see you go. Here's how to delete your account.

Before You Delete

Consider these steps first:

Download Your Data

Export your guest list (CSV)

Download all photos

Save any important information

Check Google Drive

If connected, photos in your Drive remain there after deletion.

Inform Your Partner

If you have a partner linked, they'll lose access too.

How to Delete

1. Go to Dashboard → Account

2. Scroll to Danger Zone

3. Click Delete Account

4. Type "DELETE" to confirm

5. Click Confirm Deletion

6. Your account is queued for deletion

What Gets Deleted

✗Your account and login

✗All wedding details

✗Guest information and RSVPs

✗Photos (unless backed up to Google Drive)

✗Messages and guestbook entries

✗All settings and preferences

What Stays

✓Photos in your Google Drive (if connected)

✓Downloaded files on your device

✓Exported data you've saved

Deletion Timeline

Immediate: Account deactivated, can't log in

30 days: All data deleted from servers

90 days: Data purged from backups

Changed Your Mind?

If you delete by mistake:

Within 30 Days

We may be able to restore your account.

After 30 Days

Data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Refunds and Deletion

Deleting your account doesn't automatically trigger a refund.

Within 14 days of purchase: Request refund separately

After 14 days: See our refund policy

Alternative Options

Instead of deleting, you could:

Downgrade to Free

Keep your data but use free features only

Take a Break

Simply stop using it—data stays safe

Export Everything

Download all data, then decide

Final Steps

After deletion:

You'll receive a confirmation email

Links to your wedding will no longer work

Guests can no longer access your invitation
